Part-time School Counselor
The Part-time Catholic School Counselor is a highly skilled professional person who works in close collaboration with the principal so that he/she may effectively give counsel to the students entrusted to his/her care.  The important role that a counselor plays should be permeated by a Christ-like orientation which is seen daily in what the counselor says and does in working with students.  The purpose of this position is to provide guidance to students in need and to instruct students in healthy and holy ways as they are formed in grades Pre-K – 8.  The Counselor promotes the coordination of school activities and resources and communicates between and among home, school and community agencies.

Qualifications necessary in an applicant

  • Strong commitment to Catholic education and solid Catholic identity
  • Bachelor’s degree & VA Counseling License
  • Superior communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and flexibility with needs of school
  • Hardworking, collaborative team member

Cafeteria Worker

The Part-time Student Account Coordinator’s primary objective is to insure the efficient tallying of lunches served daily while adhering to the rules and regulations of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and the Virginia Health Department.  Must have a current food handler’s card.  Hours are on school days: 10:30 am – 1:15 pm Mon-Friday in the cafeteria.
